Googie's Sandwich Shoppe opened its doors in June of 2001, born out of the vision of its founder, Chris McGuirk. Chris' vision was to create the best possible sandwich he could.

After 5 years in business, Googie's was recently sold to Ryan Cronin and Tim Slavin in September of 2006. The vision remains the same — to offer the citizens of Portsmouth and its visitors, a comfortable, friendly and healthy place to enjoy what we deem to be the perfect sandwich.

So come in and taste the way a sandwich should be. We promise you won't be disappointed.
